The Embarrassing Chase
The sky was bright blue, the grass was green. I was walking to school alone. Lumbering trees swaying side to side waving to say ‘hello.’ My mum and siblings were still at home getting ready for school.I walked past this house with cracked windows, with salty, muddy, monstrous puddles everywhere. The door was wide open, but I didn’t dare take a step into that yard. There were gigantic spider-webs in the corners of the house. It was a greasy green colour.Suddenly from the back of the house came a furocious beast running and barking at me. I started to sprint down the dazzling foot path. Everyone was in their cars with their eyes bulging, thinking it was a terrific movie.I was traumatized by that invincible beast. Luckily I made it through the traffic lights and entered the school gates. After school my mum drove to school in the car. I quickly sprinted into the car. I said “I wouldn’t like to walk to school anymore,”but my mum didn’t ask why. So we all drove home puzzled. Colossal trees swaying side to side waving to say ‘good bye.’I will never be able to walk to school again, and I am always the first person to sprint out of school and into the car.
